Alex Barrett and I were working on a brief for Google Photos. How can we show off this great photos app, in a fun pop-culture way?
So I replaced the picture frame in Chad’s left hand with a phone, and Alex wrote a whole new set of lyrics about Chad’s myriad cake photos and never-ending camera roll. We boarded up the whole thing, put together a package for Nickelback and never looked back.

Lens on Life Project is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization, supporting photography and computer literacy training for at-risk youth around the world. They have permanent schools in the Zaatari refugee camp, Jordan and the Democratic Republic of Congo, and a new location in Iraqi Kurdistan.
I’ve been on their Creative Advisory board since 2018. I designed their brand identity & website, consult with the founders regularly, and have helped teach photography workshops to students in the Zaatari Camp.
It’s an amazing organization, that continues to impress me with their dedication and commitment to building spaces to help students overcome trauma, grow artistically and gain skills to enter the global marketplace. Please check them out and take some time to explore the remarkable student work.

I art directed this Delta Safety Video and wrote a bunch of jokes about turbulence and how to buckle a seatbelt and how to put an oxygen mask on your ventriloquist dummy and stuff. The video was about 5 minutes long and full of FAA-required sentences, so here are my favorite parts.
